Patients fed back that stepping in and out of the system instead of getting up onto the table was easier in some cases.
PATIENTS FOUND IT COMFORTABLE TO BREATHE
Upright our lungs are more inflated and therefore breathing can be less laboured, meaning easier breathes.
PATIENTS FELT STABLE
Anecdotal feedback from patients suggests that when they lie on a table, they are elevated off the ground. Compared to upright they have their feet placed on the ground bringing more stability.
PATIENTS FELT COMFORTABLE
Overall patient comfort was reported to be improved upright compared to lying down on a flat table.
PATIENTS FELT IT EASY TO GET OUT OF THE SYSTEM
Patients can simply stand up from sitting and step out of the system. Which for some patients can be easier than getting up from laying down.
