ASTRO 2021, Here We Come!
The team at Leo Cancer Care are delighted to be attending another face-to-face event after their successful exhibition alongside Technologie Avanzante at ESTRO 2021 in Madrid. The team are currently packing up and making their journeys to Chicago to exhibit at ASTRO’s Annual Meeting 2021. ASTRO 2021 represents a big milestone for Leo Cancer Care, as they exhibit for the first time on their own dedicated booth.

ASTRO will take place on the 24th-27th October at McCormick Place Convention Center, with the exhibition hall being open on the 24th, 25th and 26th October. You will find Leo Cancer Care on booth 1933, where their team of experts will be on hand to discuss their unique upright patient positioning system and upright radiotherapy solutions.
The theme for this years ASTRO is ‘Embracing change, advancing person-centred care’ and as a business that prides itself on being the more human way to deliver radiation therapy, it’s the perfect year for Leo Cancer Care to exhibit for the very first time.
What to Expect from the Leo Cancer Care Booth:
Try it for yourself - You will have the opportunity to take a seat in Leo Cancer Care’s demo upright patient positioning system, there will also be CIVCO immobilisation devices on hand so visitors can see how these are compatible with the positioning system.
Learn more about upright radiation therapy - There will be a model of Marie, Leo Cancer Care’s upright Particle Therapy solution so you can visualise the full solution.
Expert advice - Leo Cancer Care’s experienced team will be on hand to discuss upright radiation therapy and their innovative solutions that will make radiation therapy more affordable than ever before, whilst also improving clinical efficiencies. The onsite team will include Thomas ‘Rock’ Mackie - Co-founder and Board Chairman, Stephen Towe - CEO, Niek Schreuder - Chief Scientific Officer, Harry Freeman - Chief Commercial Officer, Dean Willems - Sales Director (Europe), Mike Bauer - Sales Director (North America) and Michelle Lis - Medical Physicist.
Partnerships - You will be able to learn about the quality assurance devices Leo Cancer Care can offer alongside their partners at Detector, three of the detectors will be displayed on the booth. You may also have the opportunity to speak to representatives from Cosylab who will have members of their team located on the Leo Cancer Care booth during the exhibition and their brochures will be available to take away.
Giveaways - On the booth, there will be 8GB memory sticks available for visitors to take away with them, you will find some key Leo Cancer Care media saved on these including copies of their brochures and informative videos.
